Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia with the President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus

Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Cyprus Inna Torgomyan had a meeting with Annita Demetriou, the President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus.

During the meeting, the President of the House of Representatives highlighted the strong political dialogue between Armenia and Cyprus, rooted in the historically friendly ties between two peoples and a shared commitment to deepening cooperation across all areas. In this context, the importance of establishing resident Embassies in both countries was underscored.

The Ambassador expressed her gratitude to the President of the House of Representatives of Cyprus for the continued support and principled stance on issues concerning Armenia and the Armenian people. She emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with Cyprus at all levels, highlighting the high level of parliamentary diplomacy between the two countries, in this regard underscoring the upcoming visit of the President of the House of Representatives to Armenia.

Issues related to cooperation in multilateral platforms were also discussed.

Vartkes Mahdessian, the Representative of the Armenian community in the House of Representatives of Cyprus, participated in the meeting.
